Many owners have leather that should be replaced but the cars/furnitures value makes it uneconomical to do this. Our Flexicote dyes have twice the pigment content of our standard SCUFFmaster dyes so they are also ideal for colour changing. Added to that they never dry, so always remain flexible meaning that when applied to a badly cracked leather they should not crack open (but there are limits). Flexicote needs a top coat sealant applying over the dye to provide a dry finish. You can purchase matt and gloss sealant from this website, so that you can mix them together to attain any finish you desire.
Note: Once opened, Flexicote dyes only have a short shelf life of about 6 weeks and must not be allowed to freeze. Leather dyed with Flexicote cannot be conditioned afterwards as it cannot penetrate the dye, so conditioning beforehand is important if the leather has to last many years
Important Note: When ordering Flexicote dye, we will require you to send us a sample swatch of your leather item for us to match the colour. Please fill out and enclose a Car sample form or Furniture sample form (whichever is applicable) when sending us your sample. For further details on sending us a sample please click here.
