Interior Vinyl Recolouring Kit
The traditional method of recolouring vinyl seats and trim has involved the use of solvent based products.
Health and safety issues and the resulting high transport costs mean that these products are uneconomical to use on vinyl trim on vehicles which are generally of low market value i.e. Hillman Imps, early Minis, Stags and Sprites etc.
Gliptone now have an economical water based non hazardous system for interior vinyl trim.
The dyes are only available as complete kits that include all the necessary preparation materials. Correct preparation is very important because failure to remove the silicone left by most vinyl dressings will cause the system to fail.
As all the products in the kit are non hazardous they can be posted safely by air mail and courier without any restriction.

250ml Kit
Sufficient to treat the front seats of an average car.
Contents: 250ml Dye, 500ml Spray Cleaner, 100ml Silicone Remover, 65ml Gloss Sealant, 65ml Matt Sealant, Nail Brush & Towelling Cloth.

Sufficient to treat 4 seats of an average car. The kit comprises as above but with 100ml Gloss Sealant & 100ml Matt Sealant.

Kits are made to sample only, the larger the sample the better the colour match. Please supply car details with sample.

Please enclosed a filled out Car sample form or a Furniture sample form.
If you are posting part of the car like a headrest or small trim panel, send it by Recorded Post and we shall return it by the same or a similar secure method charging you the same as it cost you to post it to us.
We do not recommend that you send photographs in the post or email as it is impossible to achieve a match due to light reflection. Also, please do not email more than 2 photographs (ideally less than 60kb each) if requesting an opinion because of download times.
